Hyaluronidase (Hylenex) is used to dissolve unwanted filler for various reasons. Including filler migration, lumps, bumps, or poorly placed filler. The enzyme works instantly to break down the filler and continues to dissolve over the next few days. Multiple sessions/vials may be needed to fully dissolve. Lips that have been previously filled elsewhere require dissolving before refilling if there is any migration, lumps, bumps, nodules, or is poorly placed.
